Experience In The Industry

Operating For 35 Years

Formulated Polymer Products Ltd was formed in 1988 by two former employees of Dow Chemicals who based their business plan on providing coatings for the manufacture of wallpaper. This was in a small unit in Bolton and within 2 years they out grew their site.  After establishing their new factory in Bury, Neil Howarth joined the company and helped to expand its portfolio of products and sales ledger.

After several successful years, the original partners decided to leave the company and in 1997 the current owners purchased the remaining shares and moved the company to its present 50,000 sq. ft. site in Ramsbottom. At that time the turnover of the company was £500,000 per annum and today it has risen to over £20,000,000. Throughout this expansion we have invested in new equipment and increased our workforce to 26 people. We have recently opened another manufacturing facility in Bury.
